Human Resources Business Partner

B-Secur is looking for a talented, driven Human Resources Business Partner to join its team as we continue to accelerate our global business.

This is an exciting role in which the successful person will undertake a variety of functions for the organisation.

Assisting the HRD Manager in the development and execution of a relevant People Strategy to support global business growth, the responsibilities will range from providing HR support to employees and managers, overseeing the onboarding of new employees and training employees on the company’s procedures and policies.

They will use their knowledge of human resource best practice to shape new policy and systems development.

The Role

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Take ownership of the employee life cycle;
  • Guiding management on employee relations;
  • Offering assistance to the recruitment across other functions including supporting growth in US;
  • Improving, implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the best candidates;
  • Supporting the HRD Manager in the implementation of programmes to improve the employee experience of the organisation as a workplace;
  • Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures for the company;
  • Developing effective employee records and systems;
  • Management of requirements under Fair Employment and other relevant legislation;
  • Supporting the Wellness programme through assisting in the execution of a number of initiatives;
  • Seek out opportunities for improvements in the HR function.

Qualifications, skills and experience

The person must demonstrate the following experience, qualifications and behaviours:

  • Minimum 5 years HRBP or HR Advisor experience;
  • Third level qualification in Business, Human Resource Management or other related discipline;
  • CIPD qualified or working towards;
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic;
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong knowledge of the hiring process;
  • Excellent verbal and non verbal communication skills;
  • Strong knowledge of UK and NI employment law, policies and systems;
  • A customer-focused outlook with a high level of discretion and professionalism;
  • The ability to work well with team members and management;
  • Cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholder relationships;
  • Proven track record of delivery in a busy environment;
  • Organisational skills for storing and accessing different types of information on a daily basis.

The location

The B-Secur team are based in Belfast. This role will be based in Belfast, however it may be necessary to visit other locations as well as work from home.
