We were very proud to announce last week that B-Secur has secured £3.5 million in early-stage funding from a syndicate of some of the UK and Ireland’s leading investors, including Accelerated Digital Ventures (ADV) and Kernel Capital.

B-Secur is currently working in the UK, Ireland and US to respond to customers across many sectors including automotive, financial services, access control, smart cities and buildings, with the semiconductor industry at the core of its technology development process.

B-Secur CEO Alan Foreman said:

This announcement underscores the growing demand from organisations to provide better security to their customers in this digital world, amid an escalation in high-profile cyber attacks. I believe that our ECG authentication technology is crucial to supporting this global challenge.

We are currently piloting our technology with a number of Identity and Access Management partners; these pilots are allowing us to test our technology at scale in live environments. Our next steps [are] to develop licensing agreements with technology partners which will allow us to bring our algorithms to the biometrics market at scale.
